Who is a PADI Advanced Openwater Diver?

After completing your PADI Openwater Diver course you can broaden your experience by completing the PADI Advanced Openwater Diver course. This internationally recognised scuba diving qualification enhances your scuba diving skills and opens up many new diving adventures, while qualifying you to dive to 30 metres with a dive buddy.       

PADI Advanced Openwater Course Format

At Scubadive West we complete the PADI Advanced Openwater Diver course in one weekend, starting on Friday afternoon and finishing by Sunday evening. During the winter months (October - April) our course is completed over two days; starting on Saturday morning, completing 3 dives that day (one to be a Night Dive) and finishing on Sunday.

Our PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is structured as follows:

Two Core PADI Adventure Dives: Deep Dive & Underwater Navigation                  

Then choose three more dives from the following list: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Dive, Drysuit Dive, Search and Recovery Dive, National Geographic Dive, Digital Underwater Photography.

Anyone who pays a deposit for their PADI Advanced Openwater Course at Scubadive West during the month of May,June & July 2010 will receive one FREE Instructor/Divemaster Led Dive.  This Instructor/Divemaster Led Dive is perfect for anyone who has not dived in a while, or for anyone coming from a warm water diving background.

All we ask for is the deposit of €89 for the Advanced Openwater Course on your chosen course date. We can then get your FREE Refresher Dive booked in.

This refresher dive will set you up perfectly for successful completion of your PADI Advanced Openwater course at Scubadive West.
