Who is a PADI Rescue Diver?
Challenging and rewarding best describes Scubadive West's PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. PADI Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety, and well being of other divers. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. PADI Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken.

PADI Rescue Diver Course Schedule 2010
PADI Rescue Diver Course Format
At Scubadive West we run the PADI Rescue Diver course over two weekends; the first weekend focusing on perfecting your Rescue skills and the second weekend culminating in four open water scenarios where you will apply your skills. Our PADI Rescue Divers go on to become our most valued recreational and professional divers. The course cost is €429 and includes all reading and training materials. Please note that you must complete a PADI Emergency First Response or equivalent before starting the PADI Rescue Diver course.
Remember your EFR Course!
You must have a relevant Primary & Secondary Care qualification (taken within the last 24 months) before starting the PADI Rescue Diver Course. We run the Emergency First Response Program on a regular basis to coincide with our Rescue courses.
