Scubadive West is Ireland's leading PADI 5 Star IDC training centre with an impeccable record for turning out sought-after PADI diving instructors. Cillian Gray is a PADI Course Director and applies his years of dive training experience to a tailor-made IDC course.

The IDC (Instructor Development Course) consists of two sections: the Assistant Instructor and the Open Water Scuba Instructor course. We schedule these courses to run one after the other respectively. The PADI Openwater Scuba Instructor rating sets you apart from the crowd.PADI Instructors are the dive industry's most valued professionals, and can teach the entire range of PADI programmes, from Discover Scubadiving to Divemaster level. After completing the PADI IDC you must attend an Instructor Examination where your teaching skills will be assessed. Upon successful completion of this you can undertake your PADI Specialty Instructor ratings.
