If you haven’t been diving for a while and feel you could do with a quick refresher of the basic knowledge and skills before you go diving again, the ReActivate™ program is the perfect way to brush up before jumping back into the water.

Whether you want a few reminders or need to completely go over all the basics, you personalise ReActivate to you: you download ReActivate  onto your tablet, mobile device or computer then in your own time you review the topics you feel you need to refresh (or all of the topics if you prefer!). Reactivate will test your knowledge and will correct you if there is anything you miss.

You then go diving with a PADI Professional at any PADI Dive Centre and you get to refresh (or relearn) any of the basic Open Water Skills you may have forgotten – for example most people can’t remember how to set up their equipment or how to do their buoyancy check!

If you are thinking about taking one of our Diving Courses   and it’s been a while since you completed the Open Water Course. the Reactivate gives you the opportunity to refresh your Open Water Course skills and knowledge back to the level they should be before taking the next step.

Being an Advanced or Rescue diver you will be expected to know the basic open water skills such as how to set up your equipment, how to conduct a proper pre-dive safety check, etc. If you can’t remember the steps of these Open Water skills are you ready to be an Advanced Diver? Reactivate could be what you need to better prepare you to take the next level.

Reactivate is quick and easy, and a good way to prepare for your next PADI course or get ready for a some Dive Trips on the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland. The best part is, divers who complete both the knowledge and in-water skill refresher receive a rectivateplacement certification card with a ReActivated date on it.

Any PADI certified diver who wants a refresher or pre-travel update should ReActivate. Dive shops appreciate seeing a recent ReActivate date on your certification card because it means you’re ready to dive in.

Your PADI certification does not expire.  Participation in PADI ReActivate™ is not mandatory, but recommended as an easy way to refresh your foundational scuba safety knowledge and skills if you haven’t been diving in a while. Divers who complete both the knowledge and in-water skill refresher receive a replacement certification card with a “ReActivated thru” date on it.
